Eastern Oregon Youth Compete at Derby Championship in Ohio

Union County – (Release from Oregon Soap Box Derby) Reese Delaney of Cove and Ryatt Titus of Elgin competed at the 84th Soap Box Derby World Championship in Akron, Ohio July 17-23. Delaney made it to the final six racers in the Super Stock All-Star Race before losing to a racer from Georgia. In the All-American Super Stock Race, he lost an early round heat by .004 seconds to a racer from Ohio. Titus, making his first appearance at the All-American in Stock lost his early round heat by .012 seconds to a racer from Mississippi. Both youths represented Oregon well and raced hard. Great Job!
