State omits candidate’s statement

WALLA WALLA – Walla Walla County Board of Commissioner District 3 candidate Gunner Fulmer’s statement for the voters’ pamphlet did not process correctly, according to Walla Walla County Auditor Karen Martin.
Martin said her office was contacted by Fulmer last week asking why his candidate statement was not included in the pamphlet. Martin said it was determined Fulmer did attempt to submit his statement through the VoteWA system and he was sent verification that it was received, but somehow the information submitted was not processed completely.
The VoteWA system is operated by the Washington Secretary of State’s office. Martin said her office will be sending that missing statement to voters who live within District 3 in an attempt to make up for the state’s error.
Also running for this seat are Wayne Langford, Darren Goble, and John Haid.
