PENDLETON – The Pendleton Whisky Music Fest is Saturday, and after one previously announced change, organizers want the public to know where the shuttle vehicles will be parking. Originally, they parked at the old PGG building, but that has been sold and is no longer usable.
The decision was initially made to have shuttle parking at the Pendleton Convention Center parking lot. Logistical challenges sent organizers back to the drawing board.
“They are going to be in the parking lot in between the Round-Up Grounds and Mac’s,” Police Chief Chuck Byram said. “There’s going to be a place cordoned off for them. There are going to be signs pointing to there. Whisky Music Fest staff will be pointing people to that location and it will be very well lit.”
Byram said that when the concert is over, the shuttle vehicles will be exiting the lot using Southwest Dorion Avenue.
