PENDLETON – The month of July has forecasters stumped as far as the weather goes.
“The Climate Prediction Center is calling for equal chances of above or below normal temperatures for July,” Meteorologist Camden Plunkett said.
The normal precipitation for July is 0.26 inches. Temperatures warm as the month progresses.
“Highs normally range from 84 degrees at the start of the month to 91 by month’s end,” Plunkett said. “Lows range from 54 at the start of the month to 58 by the end of the month.”
Meanwhile, the outlook for July through September is for a 33 to 40 percent chance of above-normal temperatures and the same percentage range for below-normal precipitation.
