Teenagers wanted in connection for Othello shooting

UPDATE – The Adams County Sheriff’s Office reported Monday morning that an additional teenage boy, 14, is being sought for his possible knowledge and/or involvement in last night’s shooting on Charla Road in Othello.

OTHELLO – A teenager is being sought by the Adams County Sheriff’s Office for their possible knowledge and/or involvement in Sunday night’s shooting on the 2200 block of West Charla Road. Sheriff Dale Wagner said the teenage boy, 16, lives in Othello, is known to frequent the Toppenish area and is also a known gang member.

Wagner said deputies responded to the scene at 8:26 p.m. after it was reported that someone was shooting, and that a subject was on the ground possibly shot. Responding deputes and EMS located a man that had indeed been shot. He was transported to Othello Community Hospital, then later airlifted to a Spokane hospital for further treatment. Details on the extent of the victim’s injuries has not been provided.
