Randleas appointed newest John Day City Councilor

JOHN DAY – John Day Mayor Ron Lundbom was recently on KJDY’s Coffee Time, and said that the city council is now complete with the appointment of the latest councilor:

“Katrina Randleas was our last appointee, took Greg’s slot. Glad to have her on. She was a member of the budget committee. A good transition for her and a good learning experience.”

John Day City Councilors Paul Smith and Greg Haberly stepped down from their positions at different times this year, both citing health issues. There will be three city council positions open for election in the upcoming November election.
