UNION/UMATILLA COUNTIES – Work on I-84 near Spring Creek and Meacham this week includes rebar placement for the new concrete pavement. Concrete pavement paving in the slow lane will be taking place all week. Trucks will be entering and leaving the work zone into live traffic at both ends of the project all week, so please use caution when driving through.
ODOT notes that single lane, opposing traffic separated by orange tubular markers remains in place. There is a passing lane WB on the steep grade between MP 248 and MP 246. The posted speed limit both directions is 50 MPH through the work zone so please slow down and plan extra time. OSP will continue to have an increased presence at times to help keep the work zone safe for everyone.
