Summer Lunch Program back for Grant County youth

JOHN DAY & PRAIRIE CITY – The Summer Food Program is back in full swing, according to representatives from the John Day/Canyon City Parks and Recreation District. Free lunches are served to kids up to 18 years old in both John Day and Prairie City.
Beginning at noon each weekday, lunch will be served to youth at the 7th Street Sports Complex in John Day until 1 p.m. In Prairie City the kids can pick up their lunches between 12:30 and 1:30 p.m. at the city park.
