Teachers at North Powder Honors as Crystal Apple Award Winners

NORTH POWDER – Teachers, Nancy Simonis and Blake Jones from North Powder Schools were recognized at the Crystal Apple Awards this week. According to North Powder Schools, Nancy Simonis was honored for “the many hats she wears at our school. She has worked at North Powder Schools for 33 years and is an amazing team member. We appreciate ALL she does for students and staff.
Blake received the Legacy Award. He has worked for the district for 31 years. He has taught a variety of classes and has been a solid advocate for students. He has taught a variety of classes, including drone certification, engineering, math, science, to name a few. We are thankful for his work and support.”
It was also noted that Sandy Colton will receive the Legacy Award next Monday.
