BAKER CITY – (Release from Baker School District) The Baker School District Board voted during their regular monthly meeting to approve the hiring of Regina Sampson as District Chief Financial Officer/Business Manager.
“We are so fortunate to have Ms. Sampson joining our team,” said Superintendent Mark Witty. “She has over 20 years of accounting experience in both the public and private sectors, with particular expertise regarding financial management within the Oregon public school system.”
Ms. Sampson is coming to the Baker School District from Reynolds School District in Fairview, OR, where she started in 2011 and worked her way up to Director of Financial Services.
Reynolds School District is comprised of sixteen public schools that operate with a $270 million annual budget. Prior to her time with Reynolds School District, Ms. Sampson was Accountant for Columbia Gorge Community College.
“I look forward to joining the Baker School District Finance team and making a significant contribution toward achievingthe District’s goals and objectives,” said Ms. Sampson.
