BAKER CITY – (Information from the Baker City Police Department) After receiving several calls from concerned citizens in Baker City recently about what appeared to be an injured hawk hanging around the Leo Adler Pathway, north of Campbell Street, Officer Mark Powell and Officer Justin Prevo responded and assisted the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) in capturing the hawk.
The hawk was reportedly going to be transported by a wildlife rehabilitation organization to Blue Mountain Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education in Pendleton, Oregon
