I-84 WB between Baker City and La Grande has reopened

UPDATE: The I-84 westbound closure between Baker City and La Grande has been lifted

Previous: I-84 is now closed westbound at Exit 304 in Baker City. Closure will last approximately two hours and is necessary for recovery efforts of semi at westbound milepost 272, near Ladd Canyon. ODOT is now sorting traffic on U.S. Highway 30 in Haines. All freeway passenger vehicle traffic will be allowed to use OR 237 through Union as a detour back to I-84 in La Grande. This alternate route on OR237 will be closed to semis and other vehicles over 53 feet. I-84 westbound is also closed at Exit 374 in Ontario to limit traffic at Baker City. I-84 eastbound lanes are open.
