Stolen vehicle recovered; Sheriff says to keep them locked

GRANT COUNTY – Thursday morning around 6:36 a.m., the Grant County Sheriff’s Office responded to a stolen vehicle call. The Sheriff was on Coffee Time later in the morning, and here’s what he had to say about it:
“…had a stolen vehicle up off the West Bench area, and once again, people, PLEASE don’t leave your keys in your vehicle.
That vehicle was recovered in Mt. Vernon this [Thursday] morning. Good work with Undersheriff Mobley getting right on that this morning, and able to get to a resolution. At least we got the vehicle recovered, now we’ll get to the rest of it.”
