UNION COUNTY – (Information from Cook Memorial Library) Wednesday, April 6 is Library Giving Day, an event that gives library lovers like you a chance to elevate and support your local Union County public library – Elgin Public Library, Cove Public Library, Cook Memorial Library, North Powder City Library, and Union Carnegie Public Library. When faced with extraordinary circumstances in 2020, the mission of each of the County’s libraries remained steadfast and strong. Union County’s Public Libraries are a constant, and that’s thanks to the caring support of our generous community members. Your gift will help keep Libraries of Union County Foundation strong and more prepared to adapt to the changing times and growing need for the public libraries’ many beloved programs and services.
Union County’s five public libraries are the cornerstone of their communities, offering books, fun and informative programs for all ages, and many resources for knowledge, discovery, and enrichment.
