Two injured in DUI-related collision

KENNEWICK –The drivers of two vehicles were injured in an early Saturday morning crash. The Washington State Patrol said Wendy L. Trujillo Soto, 35, of Boardman failed to yield to the traffic signal at West Tenth Avenue as she was traveling southbound on the Highway 395 at 1:40 a.m..

Trujillo Soto’s sedan collided with a passenger van driven by Eric A. Boswell, 24, of Pasco. Both Trujillo Soto and Boswell were transported to Trios Health Southridge Hospital. Neither of Soto’s two passengers were injured.

Troopers said Trujillo Soto was booked into the Benton County Jail for driving under the influence and second-degree negligent driving.
