Baker City Council appoints new council member

BAKER CITY – The Baker County Council appointed a new member at this week’s City Council meeting. The council had received several applications and chose to appoint Kenyon Damschen. The open seat was available after the resignation of Heather Sells who was no longer eligible to serve as council after moving out to the city, she resigned from the council on March 1.
