OXBOW– (Release from Idaho Power) Hells Canyon Dam Road will be closed to all traffic near Big Bar from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Mountain Time Tuesday, Sept. 14.
An Idaho Power contractor will be removing a large rock as part of regular roadway maintenance just south of Big Bar, which is located about 14 miles north of Oxbow. The road will be closed in both directions while the work is taking place.
