PENDLETON – The Umatilla County Board of Commissioners meets this morning (Wednesday) at 9 a.m. The first item on the agenda is a public hearing on the Hunsacker zone change decision made by the Umatilla County Planning Commission.
Richard and Sandra Hunsacker are not satisfied with the conditions set for the change and is appealing to the commissioners.
The board will also schedule a public hearing for a possible new livestock district. Notices of that hearing for the Meacham East Livestock District to the property owners as well as those living within 500 feet of it. It’s proposed that the hearing be set for Oct. 20. The principal petitioner for the district is Kent Madison of Echo.
