WALLA WALLA – A man charged with raping four women between 2014 and 2018 in Walla Walla County was arrested Dec. 14, 2021, in Palm Beach County, Florida and is in the process of being transported back to stand trial.
Daniel Junior Pascual, 28, whose listed address in court documents is Boynton Beach, Florida, is charged with six counts of second-degree rape. Second-degree rape is a Class A felony and carries a maximum sentence of life imprisonment.
“A date will be set later for his first appearance and arraignment,” Walla Walla County Prosecuting Attorney Jim Nagle said.
Three of the six charges Pascual faces involve the same alleged victim. The other three charges each involved a different alleged victim.
The investigation all began back on Jan. 15, 2021, when officers from the Renton Police Department were contacted by a woman who claimed Pascual allegedly raped her in July 2018. The investigation revealed several other females had allegedly been raped by Pascual in both King and Walla Walla Counties from 2011 through 2018. Detective Scott Barfield of the Renton Police Department stated in his report he believes probable cause exists for 12 charges of second-degree rape and two charges of first-degree voyeurism.
However, Nagle said only the six charges in Walla Walla County have been filed. Any charges in King County would have to be filed there.
