Sheriff searching for owner of lost crystal meth

JOHN DAY- Grant County Sheriff Todd McKinley issued a peculiar “Lost and Found” press release on January 13, 2022. See it below:

On the afternoon of January 13th, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office recovered a significant amount of high quality crystal methamphetamine near the 800 block of East Main in John Day.

The Sheriff’s Office is actively seeking information on the owner of the methamphetamine. If you, or someone you know lost it, please contact the Sheriff’s Office at 541-575-1131 as we would like to talk to you.
