ISLAND CITY – Tuesday, the City of Island City work crews were able to get Buchanan and Walton Roads cleared of snowdrifts and open to the public. Earlier in the week that section of roadways was closed due to many vehicles being unable to travel and getting stuck in the drifted snow. City Officials do urge when navigating these roads to use caution since more snow is forecast. The City and County work crews will continue to keep roads passable to all traffic.
