Glasby is jailed again

The following is a news release from the Walla Walla Police Department:
WALLA WALLA, Wash. — On December 29, 2021, at about 09:41am, officers attempted to stop a vehicle on Taumarson Road, which Skylar Glasby was the passenger inside. Glasby had multiple warrants for his arrest and was suspected of being involved in a drive-by shooting the night before. Officers initiated their emergency lights to conduct a vehicle stop but the female driver refused to stop for officers and continued into College Place.
Due to the recent legislative changes in the state of Washington, officers can’t pursue
vehicles that won’t stop unless there is an immediate danger to the officer or public.
Officers terminated the pursuit and allowed the vehicle to continue into College Place. A
short time later, an officer re-located the vehicle as it drove down a dead-end street
where Glasby bailed out of the vehicle and fled on foot. Officers found the driver to still be in the vehicle and placed her in custody. 28-year-old Heather Barnes of College Place was taken into custody and additional officers from Walla Walla and College Place were called to the area to search for Glasby.
A short time later, officers located Glasby attempting to hide on the property of a nearby
residence and took him into custody without further incident. During his arrest 71 blue
Fentanyl pills were located on his person, commonly known on the street as “Mexi’s”.
Officers located multiple stolen items inside the vehicle that Glasby and Barnes were in.
Some of the items included a wallet, credit cards, social security cards, and ID’s belonging to victims of a recent vehicle prowl in College Place.
After Detectives interviewed Barnes, additional Probable Cause was established for
Kidnapping in the first degree for Glasby. Glasby was booked into the Walla Walla County Jail for his three outstanding warrants. The warrants for his arrest included two no bail warrant for eluding police, a no bail bench warrant, and a $600 dollar warrant for driving while license suspended 3rd degree.
