WSP investigates two-vehicle injury collision

BURBANK – A Hermiston man was injured Monday night when he crossed the centerline and struck a semi on Highway 12 at milepost 207, seven miles south of Burbank. Kris Picard, 67, was transported to Lourdes Medical Center in Pasco. No further details were released regarding his condition or injuries.

Picard was traveling eastbound on the highway and hit Rebecca S. Jones, 55, of Connell at 6:37 p.m. Jones was not injured, however, both vehicles were totaled.

The Washington State Patrol said drugs or alcohol were not a factor in the accident.
