PENDLETON – The clock is ticking for nominating people for awards at the 2022 Pendleton First Citizens Banquet on Jan. 28 at the Pendleton Convention Center. Pendleton Chamber of Commerce Chief Executive Officer Cheri Rosenberg said there is still a little time, with the deadline for nominations set at Dec. 20.
“It’s not a hard process, but it is a bit of a process,” she said. “If you’re thinking you’re going to do this Dec. 18th to get it in by the 20th, it’s not going to work so get it done now.”
Nomination forms are available at the chamber office or by emailing info@pendletonchamber.com. For more information, call 541-276-7411.
There will be changes in the presentation of awards in January. Rosenberg said everything will remain top secret for the Man of the Year and Woman of the Year. Other awards, like Business of the Year, will be treated more like the Oscars. The top three nominees will be announced in advance with the winner announced at the banquet.
