Multiple accidents on Dixie Mountain due to slick roads

AUSTIN, OR – Travelers– use caution over all of our Eastern Oregon mountain passes, and especially Dixie Mountain on Highway 26. On Sunday, OSP was advised of multiple non-injury accidents in that area including a jackknifed truck blocking the highway. On Saturday, it was reported a cattle truck had slid off the road on Dixie, and multiple vehicles had reportedly spun out on the west side of the summit.
