ELGIN, OR – Elgin School Superintendent Dianne Greif and Principal of the Elgin High School announced her retirement late last year, however things have changed. According to Greif, she said that she will transition to a part-time Superintendent and hire a full-time High School Principal. Greif said this will give her more time to complete several projects and help with the transition of a new Principal.
Greif said, “I’m not leaving for any particular reason other than I am just ready to have more family time and enjoy the grandkids”. Greif has been with the district for 29-years.
