Students collect food for local food bank

LA GRANDE – The La Grande High School students of the Associated Student Body leadership class recently donated nearly 400 pounds of canned food to Community Connections Food Bank, just in time for Thanksgiving. The Leadership Class wants to thank all that donated and participated in the food drive collecting 399 pounds. The goal was 400 pounds and like one student who participated in the food drive said, “It’s not how much we collected, it’s how we make people feel, that makes a difference”.
