Oregon K-8 Educators, ODOT wants to hear from you

BAKER COUNTY – The Oregon Department of Transportations (ODOT) Safe Routes to School (SRTS) Team will be planning and implementing a newly expanded version of the train-the trainer pedestrian and bicycle safety program to communities throughout Oregon in 2022-2023.  According to ODOT “this will include trainings with our Neighborhood Navigators 2.0 lesson plans and loaned bike fleets.”

ODOT reports that in order to make this program useful to citizens, they are assessing the state of K-8 bike/pedestrian education across Oregon.  They are asking Oregonians to give their throughs on here to go next via an online survey.

ODOT also notes that you do not need to have any experience teaching bike/pedestrian education to provide your input.

Responds will be accepted through November 16th
