Baker School District Seeks New Budget Committee Member

BAKER CITY – There is an opening on the Baker School District Budget Committee, and applications are being sought from community members interested in filling the vacancy.
Per the OSBA website, “The budget committee is charged with holding one or more meetings to receive the budget message and the budget document; provide members of the public an opportunity to ask questions about and comment upon the budget document; and approve the budget document as submitted by the budget officer or as revised and prepared by the budget committee.”
Applications can be picked up from Karly Knapp at the District Office located at 2090 4th Street in Baker City. Completed applications must be returned to the District Office by November 29, 2021, for consideration.
