HERMISTON – Hermiston’s new municipal building is still on track to be finished late next year. Assistant City Manager Mark Morgan said that having the steel framing going up is a big help.
“You can really start to actually see what the building is going to look like,” he said. “You can really get a sense for how the offices are going to lay out and then also you can really see where the council chambers are going to be located.”
Morgan said that the public can get updates on the construction via the News and Announcements tab on Hermiston’s website.
“We have a live shot of the building under construction,” he said. “You can also watch a time lapse and then watch the building get knocked down and put back together.”
