BAKER COUNTY – Members of the Baker County Sheriff’s Office along with help from the Idaho Fish and Game, and Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife were able to help a doe in distress recently. The doe was spotted in the Oxbow area with her head and leg entangled in a wire tomato cage. In addition, to being tangled up she had a set of triples with her.
With assistance from those involved, the doe was successfully tranquilized, and the cage removed. Once completed she was reunited with her fawns.
