WSP investigating injury collision

WALLA WALLA – The Washington State Patrol reports one person was injured Sunday afternoon in a two vehicle collision at the intersection of Rose Street and Myra Road.
Troopers said Jason M. Malcolm-Fey, 26, of Walla Walla was eastbound on Rose Street and struck another vehicle in the intersection driven by David H. Svehaug, 72, also of Walla Walla at 12:24 p.m.
Both vehicles were totaled. Svehaug was injured and transported to Providence St. Mary Medical Center. No further details on his condition or injuries were released by WSP.
The collision is under investigation and charges are pending against Malcolm-Fey. WSP said drugs or alcohol were not involved.
