Ideas of a Skate Park in Wallowa

WALLOWA – With a new skate park that was constructed in Enterprise, earlier this year, Wallowa is hoping for one in their town. Many Wallowa kids do their skateboarding and bicycling in the city streets and according to law enforcement officials, the city streets is not always a safe place to ride. Many of the youth are supporting the idea and are eager to share their ideas. The park would include many of the same ramps and obstacles as the Enterprise Skate Park has. Grants will be applied for later this month but the total cost has not yet been calculated. A discussion will be addressed to the City Council October 19th.
