Senate Bill 554, went into effect Sept 25, increased concealed handgun fees

BAKER COUNTY – (Details from the Baker County Sheriff’s Office) Fees for new concealed handgun licenses, renewals, and transfers have increased. The Baker County Sheriff’s Office reports that Senate Bill 554 which was enacted by the Legislature, requires that Sheriff’s Offices throughout the state increase the fees for these services.
Citizens are reminded that the fees increased effective September 25, 2021 and are as follows.
-New concealed handgun license ($115)
-CHL renewal ($75)
-CHL transfer ($30)
-CHL transfer with renewal ($90)
For those who are interested in obtaining a concealed handgun license, you are asked to call the Baker County Sheriff’s Office at 541-523-6415 to schedule an appointment.
