MISSION – The Umatilla County Jail roster reflects that Skylar Faith Crowe, 22, is in custody charged with criminal homicide. That felony has no bail. She was arrested by the Umatilla Police Department Wednesday night and was booked into the jail early this morning (Thursday).

The Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation issued a brief statement regarding the incident.

“An incident occurred early on the evening of Wednesday, 9/29 on Willow Drive (Mission) that resulted in the death of one individual. There is a suspect in custody in Umatilla County jail at this time on suspicion of homicide. Since this is a major crime subject to federal jurisdiction on the Reservation, the events surrounding the death are under investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. We have no further information to release at this time and will provide additional details when the FBI has reached the appropriate point in its investigation for a public statement to be made.”
