Comments being accepted on a wind project, Eagle Take permit

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife has drafted an Environmental Assessment that analyzes the effects of potential Service decisions on an eagle take permit application from the Elkhorn Valley Wind Project in Union County. The project proponent is seeking eagle take authorization for eagles killed incidentally from the operation of turbines at the Project.

Comments on this draft EA will be accepted through October 20th, 2021. Please submit comments by letter to:
