Walla Walla — Washington state’s oldest fair, the Walla Walla Fair and Frontier Days begins today (Wednesday) with free admission until 3 p.m. Chicago will performs tonight at 8 p.m.
The demolition derby is at 6 p.m. Thursday, followed by a concert by Lainey Wilson at 9 p.m. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings at 6:30 the PRCA rodeo will be held.
Saturday the parade begins at 10 a.m. through Walla Walla. There are more than 150 entries in the procession. Also, a nationally-recognized competitive dog act will perform daily, featuring events that include big air, and speed retrieve.
The fair is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. today and tomorrow and 11 a.m. to midnight Friday through Sunday. A complete schedule is on the fairground’s website.
