BAKER CITY – Baker City Fire and Rescue responded to a structure fire in Baker City this week at 2825 Campbell Street. According to the fire department, the fire “was contained to the room of origin (kitchen), it appears the that fumes from a flammable liquid that had been spilled reached an open flame and caused the fire.”
The occupant did receive some minor burns but, refused treatment. The house did have significant damage but does not look like it was a total loss”.
