Fred Warner Jr. to fill in during CEO leave of absence

BAKER CITY – The Baker County YMCA is welcoming a familiar Baker County face to the Y family. Fred Warner Jr, who retired from his position as Baker City Manager in December of 2020 has agreed to fill in for YMCA CEO Rob Wilkinson, who has taken a leave of absence to deal with family issues. Wilkinson is expected to return in the coming months.

Information released by the YMCA quotes Warner as saying, “I am really enjoying my retirement but the YMCA is important to my family and to the community, so I’ve agreed to help in this interim period,”
