WALLA WALLA – National Night Out will again be celebrated this year by the Walla Walla Police Department and Walla Walla Area Crime Watch with a parade through Walla Walla and College Place.
“National Night Out is an annual event connecting residents and law enforcement to build strong relationships as we partner together to keep our community safe,” WWPD Public Information Officer Sergeant Gunner Fulmer said. “In the past, National Night Out has been held at Pioneer Park, but due to COVID, we had to change our strategy so we could reach out to people and keep connected with our community”.
National Night Out will consist of a parade of patrol, fire and other support vehicles rolling through neighborhoods in Walla Walla and College Place, Saturday, July 31 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Last year, community members who showed the most support along the route by decorating their properties won prizes.
