Man arrested for multiple counts involving a firearm

BAKER CITY  – (𝘐𝘯𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘳 𝘊𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘗𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘋𝘦𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵) On July 12, 2021, in the mid-afternoon, officers with the Baker City Police Department responded to a “road rage” incident in the 3300 block of Birch Street, Baker City, Oregon, where one party ended up pointing a firearm at the other party and his family. While enroute, officers, to include deputies with the Baker County Sheriff’s Office, were given a description of the vehicle and suspects involved in the incident. Deputies found the suspect vehicle on 17th Street near Settler’s Park and conducted a traffic stop. Two adult males, and one juvenile female were detained.

The investigation revealed that Mr. Caleb Mansuetti, a 19-year-old male from Baker City Oregon, was the driver of the suspect vehicle and pointed a 9mm Smith and Wesson handgun at Jordan Hynek of Baker City, and his family and then sped off, driving recklessly away from the area.

Endangering the Welfare of a Minor

Menacing (five counts)

Reckless Driving

Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree

The other adult male in the vehicle, Mr. Ethan Luebberke, 19-year-old male from Baker City, was interviewed and released from the scene. The juvenile female was released to her mother. The investigation is ongoing and other charges may be filed at a later date.
