BAKER CITY – Parents in the Baker School District will be getting a reprieve from some school fees during the upcoming school year. The district has announced the elimination of most K-12 fees including those fees for school supplies and sports.
According to information from the Baker School district, these expenses are now being covered through the district’s Student Investment Account, a grant program within the Student Success Act approved by the Oregon Legislature.
