LA GRANDE – (Information provided by La Grande Parks and Recreation)  Due to the storm damage sustained in the Greenwood neighborhood on June 30th, the City of La Grande is providing funds to pay for the restoration pruning and/or removal of street trees in the right of way near the road.  The City’s Urban Forester will coordinate efforts with local tree services to provide the clean up during the months of July through September.  These services will be free to all residents who sustained storm damage to street trees.

The area identified is Y Avenue to the North, Jackson Avenue to the South, 4th Street to the West and Willow to the East.  A map is attached for your reference.  (Insert map here)

Door hangers will be posted at each house where work will be done.  If we missed you and you have sustained storm damage to a tree in the City right of way, please feel free to contact Teresa Gustafson, Urban Forester 541-663-1952; trees@cityoflagrande.org.
