Power outage in Elgin

ELGIN- (Information from OTEC) Just after 7:00pm, power outages in the area near Elgin were reported affecting more than 1,400 members.  The outage was believed to have been caused by severe weather in the area. Restoration efforts are currently underway.  As of 8:45pm, 100 members are still without power.

At around 7:45pm, outages were also reported in the La Grande area, affecting more than 1,700 members. Again, severe weather is believed to be the cause.  Crews are currently on-site performing restoration procedures.
