Notice to renew home warranty, could be a scam

LA GRANDE – Community Connection of Northeast Oregon has been receiving calls from local individuals who have received a letter in the mail stating that is was a final notice to renew their home warranty. The notice has referenced Community Connection of Northeast Oregon and looks like an official notice. Community Connections wants everyone to be aware that these letters are not from Community Connection and more than likely not from a legitimate home warranty service provider. Unless you receive a letter from your mortgage lender, do not respond to these letters, in some cases phone calls.
