GRANT COUNTY – There are two members of the the Grant County Search and Rescue team who are newly-certified, and between the two, they have a total of six legs. Grant County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue recently took to social media, congratulating Cindy Lemcke and K9 Oakie on passing their Wilderness Trailing Type 2 National Certification. The certification was issued by Search and Rescue Dogs of the United States, or SARDUS. They also received their trailing certification with the Oregon State Sheriff’s Association.
Grant County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue wrote, “A HUGE thank you to the Grant County SAR team, trainers, friends, family and every other person that has helped us along this journey. We could not have achieved this without you!”
