Shots fired in Mt. Vernon, one arrested

MT. VERNON – According to a release from Sheriff Todd McKinley, multiple calls were received yesterday regarding shots being fired in in Mt. Vernon. The GCSO, JDPD and OSP responded. Joshua Fleetwood, 38, of Mt. Vernon was located and arrested for Felon in Possession of a Weapon, Disorderly Conduct and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. No one was physically injured, and Fleetwood has been booked and lodged at the Grant County Jail.
