PENDLETON – Progress is being made on repairing Pendleton’s streets this summer. Public Works Director Bob Patterson says the crack-seal projects have been completed.
“The total project cost is about $240,000,” he said. “I think our original bid was around $120,000, and we doubled that in work.”
The city also stepped up its game with the slurry seal projects, which Patterson said will begin in July.
“That project award was just over $75,000, but we added an additional 25 segments or blocks for just under $128,000.” Overlay projects will commence shortly, as will road construction projects using economic development funds from the Pendleton Development Commission. A complete list of the projects is on the city’s website.
