PROSSER – Washington State Patrol reports that a woman who is suspected to have been driving under the influence of intoxicants wrecked on State Route 22 three miles west of Prosser early Tuesday. Both the driver and the 3-year-old boy who was a passenger were injured.
Cynthia Robles, 21, of Prosser was traveling westbound when she went off the road, rolling her 2014 Jeep Cherokee, which came to rest on its wheels. Robles is then reported to have continued to drive eastbound and became high centered on railroad tracks. She is being charged with DUII and reckless endangerment.
The boy was transported to Prosser Memorial Health for treatment of his injuries. Robles was taken by ambulance to Kadlec Regional Medical Center.
