BAKER COUNTY – Baker County Sheriff’s Office Deputies recently spent the day teaching firearms safety to the Powder River Sportsmen Club Pistolettes. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the day began with classroom instruction and was followed by several hours at the shooting range.
The Pistolettes is a group that was created to teach women firearm safety and the fundamentals of marksmanship. The group meets monthly. If you are interested in joining, contact Penny at 541-523-3251.
